On 1 January 2012, Digi-Sign announced its plan for the issuance of 2048-bit ID-Cert.

This notice serves to remind subscribers that in accordance with the industry recommendation for supporting higher level security in performing electronic transactions, Digi-Sign will cease to issue 1024-bit ID-Cert starting on 1 January 2014. From that date onwards, Digi-Sign will only issue 2048-bit ID-Cert.

For the avoidance of doubt, subscribers can continue to use their existing 1024-bit ID-Certs until their natural expiry. For enquiries, please contact Digi-Sign Hotline at 2917 8833.
