Tradelink is pleased to become a member of the FIDO Alliance, an industry consortium with an aim to change the nature of online authentication by developing specifications that define an open, scalable, interoperable set of mechanisms that reduce reliance on passwords to securely authenticate users of online services. The FIDO Alliance has as at today, nearly 250 members including Alibaba, Amazon, Google, Mastercard, Visa & PayPal, and over 300 FIDO certified products available in the market.
Before joining the FIDO Alliance, Tradelink has been supporting FIDO standards and applying them in our biometric authentication solutions that support different biological attributes for authentication (such as face, voice and fingerprint) and more than one attributes for authentication of particularly high risk transactions. Patronaged by banks, securities firms and regulatory body, our authentication solution allow end-customers to use their mobile phone as out-of-band two-factor authentication with biometrics for login and/ or transaction verification. As end-users’ sensitive personal data will only be stored on their own devices, our solutions not only deliver good user experience, but also enhance security and privacy at the same time.
